After the first tutorial, I have chosen the cell pattern to study it more closely. The chosen pattern is a cross section of a plant stem.

The first model that I made was a simple extrusion of the original pattern.

There 3 distinct density change across the pattern. I then extracted these section and formed my own pattern.
Second model was based on the pattern that is formed as a result of the study of density and size change. However the model is too abstract and does not inform solid/void/spaces in between.
